Frontgate
Ag's Own Accounting Firm
We Partnered On
A full rebrand, from renaming to rollout.

The Challenge
Frontgate approached us aiming to pivot from everyday accounting, into the agricultural niche. Having laid down their roots in a semi-rural area and accumulated a customer base of multigenerational farming families, the team had reenvisioned accounting for ag. Frontgate’s approach is centred around tight-knit, long term relationships, where solutions are conceived over a cuppa and the weather means more than just small talk.

The Change
Our first step was to find a new name for the (formerly-known-as) Money Edge. A name that felt wholeheartedly ag and more collaborative than corporate. A farmer’s front gate is the threshold to their farm and their story. It’s a meeting place and a welcome turning point, making it the perfect title for ag’s own accounting firm. We carried this symbolism into the brand logo, which takes a birds-eye view of the paddock to illustrate Frontgate’s all-seeing approach. The blueprint perspective reinforces their involvement in opening doorways, mapping change and building out big visions for clients.
In addition to seeing customers through their busts and booms, Frontgate brings an agile, questioning spirit to an overly-corporate sector. We paired an authentic tone of voice with a colourful visual system to appeal to a modern generation of farmers. Typography, iconography and art direction all tell an aspirational story and uplift the brand position; accounting through rain and shine.

"From start to finish, it was an exceptional experience, and I'd like to express my heartfelt appreciation for their outstanding work. What sets Studio Agriculture apart is their specialisation in the ag space. They demonstrated a profound understanding of our industry's unique challenges and opportunities, which was evident right from the initial consultation. The final result exceeded our expectations. The new branding beautifully encapsulated our firm's essence and breathed new life into our image within the agricultural sector."
